Why a site about revolvers
Most handgun coverage treats the revolver as a museum piece or a punchline. It is neither. It is a tool with a narrow, real set of advantages and some costs people gloss over.
What we cover

How we write
Every recommendation here is analysis, not a range report. We do not claim to have tested guns we have not tested, and we do not invent range anecdotes or fabricate group sizes. Where we describe a trigger, a recoil impulse, or a durability reputation, we are summarising the weight of published reviews and long-run owner experience — and where opinion is genuinely divided, we say so instead of picking a side to sound confident.
Specifications are approximate manufacturer figures. Barrel lengths, weights, and finishes change between production runs, so the merchant listing is always the authority.
